I have ordered a few times from Runder, and have always received biltong, which was still a little moist. The last two orders though have been quite dry, including the box of 30 packets I received last week. I would suggest that Runder's website should allow a customer to state which type of "tong" they want, i.e. dry, wet, medium. This is a system used by Susman's in the UK, and it is very successful. I understand that this is an additional cost for the company in difficult times, but it is more than balanced out by the improved service to customers.
